助理教授 of Computational Mathematics

Lale Asik博士.D.Lale Asik is an 助理教授 of Computational Mathematics in the mathematics and statistics faculty group in the School of Mathematics, 科学, 和工程.

Asik obtained her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Bulent Ecevit University, Turkey,
in 2007 and her master’s degree in mathematics education from Marmara University in 2009. She joined the 数学与统计学系 as an 助理教授 in 2020, immediately after completing her doctorate in mathematics from Texas Tech University. Her research provides quantitative and qualitative improvements in the predictive power of theoretical and computational population ecology. She uses dynamical systems theory and tools to develop, 分析, and interpret mathematical models of biological systems, 跨越生态学的各个领域, 毒理学, 和流行病学. She has articles published in high-profile journals of mathematical biology and presentations at many conferences and seminars.
